Can't Take a Full Day Off?
Starting Point
Start From Scratch
Shape raw steel into a finished blade over a 10-hour day.
The Classic
Premium Blank
Start with a blade I've already heat treated and ground. Focus on handle work.
Bigger Knives, Fancier Steels
Steel
1084 Carbon Steel
Our standard. Tough, forgiving, great edge. You will finish in one day.
Included
80CrV2
Better edge retention. Chromium + vanadium. Still one day.
Upgrade
A basic knife is always finishable in one 10-hour day with 1084 or 80CrV2 — that's our promise. Want premium steels like Cruwear, MagnaCut, or Damascus? We'll plan that in your free consultation after booking.
How Premium Blanks Work
I prepare the blank beforehand — heat treated, ground, and potentially stonewashed or finished in a steel of your choice (including Cruwear, MagnaCut, Damascus). You come in and we build the handle and do final assembly. Bigger knives, fancier steels, no multi-day commitment. Blank pricing varies.
Not sure which blank to pick? No worries — we'll go through your options in the consultation after you book.
Free Preliminary Consultation Included
After you book, we'll schedule a quick meeting to dial in exactly what you want — blade design, steel choice, any upgrades. Book now, details later.

Full Day
10 hours. The complete experience from scratch.

Half Day Project
